With over a decade of success in the Australian motorsport industry, AASA now officially offers full Permitting, Licencing and Insurance in New Zealand.

The Australasian Auto-Sport Alliance is a 100% Kiwi-owned and operated Agency (of the Australian AASA), giving peace-of-mind to event promoters, competitors, crew and volunteers, with the bonus of local knowledge & expertise in all fields of motorsport in NZ.

AASA New Zealand aims to be cost efficient for the wider motor sport community – boasting streamlined processes, simple online systems, reduced costs and friendly common-sense practices, with a focus on maximum safety throughout all aspects of motorsport.

AASA Public Liability insurance is underwritten through Lloyds of London, giving far greater protection than domestic NZ policies. As an example, AASA’s Public Liability cover includes damage to third party motor vehicles (which are not covered by policies issued by current underwriters).

Our Mission Statement: To create, promote and maintain a professionally administered sport and industry environment, ensuring the viability of the professional and recreational auto racing industry for the benefit and enjoyment of all the key stakeholders; the people who administer, participate, watch and/or provide the infrastructure for the New Zealand motorsport industry.

At AASA New Zealand, we field enquiries and applications for Kiwi Motorsport Permits, Licences and Insurances, then facilitate the process of issuance via the parent organisation of AASA in Australia. This gives New Zealander’s a simple, friendly and LOCAL portal for all their motorsport needs, with the assurance of a proven company track record & history.

With AASA’s fresh approach, there are plenty of advantages over the old ways:

1) Most applications can be completed in a matter of minutes – ONLINE

2) Any organisation or individual, club or promoter can obtain a permit!

3) There’s no need to be ‘affiliated’ – it is NOT restricted just to ‘clubs’

4) AASA’s insurance is more comprehensive, with same excess

5) Modern approach to Rules, Regulations and Technical aspects

AASA is a Member Sanctioning Body of the SFI Foundation, Inc. SFI is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated entirely to motorsport safety.
